I learned from the teacher, with confirmation from an old spiritualist minister, (they did not know each other) that the glowing man was the Ascended Master, Lord Sananda, who also had an incarnation as Jesus. The lions of gold atop the cover signified soul accomplishments. A golden lion almost always means this in a "soul level" dream. How fitting that the record of our past lives is "covered" by our collective Souls' accomplishments! This book was the Akashic Records.

And, I grew my business to a point that many would consider incredibly successful. But, what I didn't realize is that I was growing the business on a cracked foundation. Why? Because I listened to others more than I listened to myself. I tried to model others, more than I created a unique model that worked for me. I did what I thought I should do rather than what was 100% right for me and my life. I allowed some of my decisions to be made from my ego, rather than my heart.

In the course of requesting a job reference, I'd found out that my former supervisor, one Bill W., had recently died. Though I didn't know him long, I liked Bill. I respected his warm earthiness, his everyman charm. He was a kind, mellow man who handled crisis with an aplomb most can only dream of possessing. He worked hard to stay out of the spotlight, and harder to put others in it.

This time we stayed in a lovely old colonial hotel in the highlands. I first saw him across from our family table in the diningroom. He was alone at his table. Tall, dark haired with beard and moustache, he was about ten years too old for me. He was, however, around the age of all the men in the books I was absorbing by osmosis at the time.

That is until 5 months prior to getting his degree when he read page 2 of a book by Gerald Heard and then he stayed up reading all night long and by dawn his Naturalist viewpoint had collapsed. He didn't pick up another book by Heard until after he graduated. If people are suffering should not anything that ever worked to alleviate it be offered to them. I will share with you one of the most powerful dreams of my life. I was studying at a library table with my friend, Joy. It was kind of dark. There were many empty tables in this library, which was shaped like a theater in the round. I noticed that a middle-aged woman in a brown dress, her hair in a bun, was quietly standing beside me. As I looked at her she gestured to me to follow her. Joy never looked up from her books. I followed the woman down some stairs toward the center of the theater. In the center of the stage was a brightly glowing, golden pyramid, about fifteen to eighteen feet high. There was an open trapezoidal shaped door in the center of one side. Beside the door stood a blonde, blue-eyed, tall thin man wearing only a loin cloth.

golden teacher It was bumpy at first, but eventually something remarkable happened to this class of rough talking, tougher acting adolescents. Increasingly, outbursts like, "@!#$%, don't look at me," were being met with a growing chorus of, "there are no @#$%s in this class!" Conflicts decreased; while smiles and learning flourished. The kids even learned to tolerate my lectures. Surely my grandmother was on to something.

I walked into the event a lot late. In the 1960's it would be called "a happening." The name of the event was "Children, Our Ultimate Investment." It was a celebration of Aldous Huxley's birth. Ram Dass was on stage with (Alan Watt's cohort) Al Huang (of the Living Tao foundation). As Dass did his thing about Shiva and existence and bliss Al Huang danced spontaneously and these professional big kids were having a really good time as they carried Laura Huxley around the packed room and danced with her in their arms.
