How I Turned My Failures Into Success

One thing I learned in my years working in schools as a teacher and administrator is that if you want your students to learn something, the best way to make it happen is to teach it to them. This sounds pretty simplistic. If I wanted students to learn to solve a mathematics problem, I taught them the steps to solving that kind of problem. Then we would practice it. This was all a part of the curriculum.

Let the Golden Rule, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" be your starting point. Some teachers devise a set of class rules with the class. This often works well because they will accept ownership of the rules. A few simple rules are easy to enforce and easily understood by the class.

There is an old, often used joke about how to make money in network marketing. The answer, they say, is simple. All that you have to do is recruit, recruit, and recruit. Simple, you say? If you've been in MLM for any time at all you will know that even the most simple of things are not always easy. It takes an impressive amount of determination and discipline to stay the course even though there may not be much in the way of income at the start of your network marketing career. Although we all dream of time and lifestyle freedom, the reality is that it doesn't happen overnight. Only the most tenacious will endure, continuing to do what must be done in order to reach the goal. Those who do will reap great rewards as they recruit, recruit, and recruit.

All of this interfered with my possibilities of actually getting one of these strange creatures to become what boys were meant to be, boyfriends. I was a strange mixture; well read, with a fertile imagination and absolutely zero real life experience. It was not a particularly successful recipe. Because of all my reading, my love affair with music and my wild, unfettered imagination I was oh so ready to turn fiction into fact.

We must change and to do so we must develop human character. End suffering. Attention to here and now then come down from the mountain and provide water to the thirsty souls. No cult grew around Aldous Huxley. (Who incidentally died the same moment as John F. Kennedy). Huxley did not become a Guru. (Actually a Guru is a teacher and Huxley was that!).

golden teacher Perhaps rather than dependence on chemicals and substances outside ourselves there may be other ways which are more effective in changing ones' consciousness. Permanent positive ways. These include prayer and meditation. (As well as movement and sound, touch and massage and yoga and hugs). Doctors should be allowed to treat their patients with ways that are effective and also the least harmful. Harmless even if they do not work. (So other ways can be tried).

Years later I discovered that I have the ability to instantly access anyone's past lives if I enter a trance state. I deeply know that I can do this only because I was given that book. In was literally receiving access to the Akashic Records. I awoke feeling profoundly changed. That feeling has stayed with me forever. I suppose I could have been given that book without my Soul ever letting me in on it, but then would I ever have taken a dream interpretation class? Would I have ever tried to do past life readings? Would all those people who have been healed by the past life readings ever have been healed?

You, my dear Diva, are a Golden Goose. Each day you lay multiple golden eggs throughout your life. They are often disguised as meals for loved ones, staying a little later at work to help your boss or co-workers, volunteering at the church or PTA, working on your cross-stitch or scrapbooking or on a passion of your heart. Everything that you do, each and every day, that brings a blessing to another is a golden egg. Like the goose in the story, you know how to lay the eggs. How well do you care for the goose?

I just wanted to dance under the sunlight for a little while. Do a little of the Tai Chi I had learned. I could almost hear the song of Whales and light flute music here in the center of Los Angeles, California. The usual whiff of noxious fumes was strangely not noticed. I sat on the green lawn drinking my soda doing a Yoga asana (stretching) and judging myself tremendously aloud to a woman next to me.

There is a distinct difference between the two. Bottom line is accents are played higher than taps. Drum teachers usually explain this by saying taps are all the inside notes, the low notes. Accents are taught to be played vertically. The common misconception is that accents and taps is just for marching drumlines, but it can also be played by drum kit drummers too. The benefit to playing drum music with proper stick heights is that it sounds and it looks good. One of the best books that could teach you how to play proper stick heights is Accents and Rebounds by George Lawrence Stone. Stone is well-known for his first book, Stick Control.
