The images are explained in a help article about learning script writing. To learn and understand script writing and movie scripting you can read the article How to write a movie script on the main page.

Idea

What is your basic idea to a new movie script. What do you dream of.

I want a Dinosaur Tv Show. Basicly like this Terra Nova. but while Terra Nova was very frustrationg because there were no dinosaurs. I don't know if you noticed. So I would like to have a group of heroes from the future. And I really want them to come to the past because there is a special plant that is good for eating. I think this is especially caring, and so better then a medical plant. I want the aim they have in the past to be very caring.

Authors

Put your name here the way you would want it to appear in the movie title credits.

I put my name in later,

Land

setting of a movie

Land.

I think something like a bit jungle and also grassy steppe plains with shorter grass. and some scarse trees. I thought the dinosaurs might be a danger that you can not really fight and so make the thicker jungle a home for the humans and the open steppe as something that is just without question the terretory of the bigger dinosaurs, like T-rex. that was just an idea. In the jungle I want Raptors.

And I want natives like stoneage indians. I think this all can be a bit unrealistic. not real caveman but more comic book styled cultural prehistoric tribe with quite high culture. Like a respectfull tribe. And The heroes help this tribe to become caring and so teach humanity itself to grow up, get a friendly culture, and think scientifically.

And then there must be some enemies. Maybe an evil indian tribe, who dresses in black. And maybe some company from the future who send some people to destroy the whole operation of the heroes.

All ideas you have in these first chapters have to be told in the movie or tv script so this makes already some scenes necessary.

Hero, Good Guys

developing the good guy or Hero in a movie script developing movie scenes with tools atributes of the Good Guy, Hero

Hero, Tools like: Army, Lightsaber, Buggy, Starship, Abilities like: Kung Fu, Energy fighting, Shooting.

I want some cool guys. With stun laser guns because they are from the future. And I want a Buggy for them to drive around. Maybe some of the heroes have learned a martial art that enables them to even fight small dinosaurs.

What Tools or Abilities can he or she get later.

The can retrieve this plant for eating.

Bad Guy

Bad Guy, evil guy in a movie script developong scenes for a film finding attributes for the Bad Guy

Bad Guy, Tools, Abilities.

What Tools or Abilities can he or she get later

Other characters

Ideas about other characters.

The Heroes can learn to respect nature from the indians.

Ideology

Ideologie, developing the Hero

Is the Hero just good, or has he doubt about an actually good attitude like: he has personal rights, friendliness toward strangers, believe in God, hope for the future, life partner is the most important.

Or is there just an overaching theme that does not concern the Hero to much.

I want the heroes to be only good. So maybe we need it that they have classical fears. One can be somehow afraid of dinosaurs. One can be afraid of being alone in this jungle. One can have problems with keeping the technologies running.

Trust

Trust in the Heroes powers and abilities

If the Hero is already just good, then he or she must doubt to be able to use one of his or her "Abilities" or "Tools" so that it brings victory. in one scene. About what has the Hero doubts?

Bad Guy advantage

ideas for Bad Guy plans

What could the Bad Bad Guy get if he rules the Land.

Threat

developing the scenes what must the Bad Guy do whare must the Bad guy go

Where must the Bad Guy go and what must he use to destroy the Good Guy or one of his or her necessary Tools.

Solution

What must the Hero use to destroy the Bad Guy Where must the Hero go

Where must the Hero go and what must he use to destroy the Bad Guy or one of his or her necessary Tools.

Important stages

(of the movie script). Ideas for the middle part.

If something is already written in one of these chapters and you do not like it don't just delete it, you can strike it out so it can be easily restored. How to strike things out we see in the article How to use Scriptset.

All ideas you have in these first chapters have to be told in the movie script so this makes already some scenes necessary.

General thoughts (Setup)

Your place for everything. But primarily about the aspects above.

Scenes

A movie script consists of about thirteen sequences. A sequence is a row of scenes that do only one aspect for the story. The Scenes are in this case sequences. The word scene makes us understand that every "Scene" makes one story aspect happen. We need about thirteen scenes.

Problematic is that this will not give a continous film or movie script because the movie developes and so the scenes have to be discarded again or rearanged. Thats why the scenes are not numbered. To sort them use the Edit button on top of the page to see the whole text.

All ideas you have in the first chapters above have to be told in the movie or theater scenes to make the viewers understand everything. You can write scenes in which the Good Guy or the Bad Guy work to retrieve "Tools", "Abilities" or come to a "Place" for the final fight. You can write scenes in which there are minor pre fights. And you can write movie scenes about the final fight(which must be close to movie end, no more then 5 minutes before the film end).
