The garden has a variety of flowers, including ume, peach, cherry, forsythia, magnolia, and camellia, which are brightly colored and span the mountainsides from March to April. The beauty that shines out like this made it known as Shangri-La in real life Around 300 plum trees are planted here, and it is the first flower to bloom throughout the garden. It symbolizes the arrival of spring.

Kairakuen Garden is a large landscaped garden. Located in Mito City Ibaraki Prefecture It is one of the three largest gardens in Japan. which includes both Kenrokuen Garden in Kanazawa city and Korakuen Garden in Okayama City Kairakuen Garden has more than 3,000 beautiful plum trees of more than 100 varieties and blooms creating vibrant colors throughout the area between February and March.
The Mito Plum Blossom Festival takes place during the blooming season for approximately 45 days. The combination of the beauty of the ume flowers and the traditional Japanese garden leaves a great impression on the onlookers. During the festival there are also special events such as tree lighting at night, food stalls, tea ceremonies, and more.
3. Yushima Tenmangu Shrine

While many of the picturesque Ume Gardens are located in rural Japan. But you can still enjoy the beautiful ume flowers in Tokyo too! The Bunkyo Plum Blossom Festival at Yushima Tenmangu Shrine is one of the most popular flower viewing spots in Tokyo.
There are over 300 plum trees blooming beautifully at the shrine. The festival takes place from the beginning of February to the beginning of March. There are also special events such as shows and tree lighting at night. If you don't have time to travel out of town You should definitely visit the Bunkyo Plum Blossom Festival in Tokyo, you won't be disappointed!
4. Inabe Plum Grove

Inabe Plum Grove is located within a botanical garden near the foot of Mount Suzuka. In Inabe City, Mie Prefecture, it is one of the largest Ume Parks in the country. With more than 4,500 plum trees of 100 varieties planted in a vast area of more than 238 hectares, plum trees are in full bloom throughout March.
and the Inabe Plum Festival (or Inabe Ume Matsuri) held every year. It attracts visitors from all over the country as well. Visitors can walk through the pink forest of ume flowers and enjoy the magnificent view of the flowers sparkling across the mountains. There is also a market selling local products during the festival as well.
