Hair Cut and Style: Individuals with long wavy hair can opt for brown or golden shades. With a wispy or layered cut one should avoid using too light a shade as the ends will appear thin. Short hair looks good in red, blue, green or any unnatural color. You can pick various designs of hair like paneling, horizontal or chunky highlighting, dip dyeing, or any vibrant color combination depending on your look.

When a child/athlete drops a ball, they need to be there to help them recover and get the ball aloft again. Those two tasks, providing and balancing, are the parent's most essential. Beyond that they need to sit back and observe, allow their child/athlete to do what they can, make decisions on their outcomes, wrestle with the results and unconditionally love them regardless of the win or loss.

"Mahana-you-ugly! Get out of that tree!" I was at a leadership development retreat when I heard this line from a campy, dated flick produced by the Mormon Church. The video was titled Johnny Lingo and it was based on a short story of the same name. Despite its unintentional political incorrectness, it was hard to dismiss the invaluable lessons it demonstrated.

In my situation, I always got into trouble in school for talking too much. In my workplaces, I always got into trouble for challenging the managerial systems, asking too many questions and trying to change things or fix things. Guess what I am doing today? Today, I get paid for doing all those things. What does this say about me? It says that I like challenge and change, short projects rather than long, drawn-out, repetitive work, talking to people, investigating and challenging systems. In other words, I am better suited to being a consultant. What about you? Who are you and what do you want? Find out who you are and match this to job characteristics that interest you.

Over the years, I could never seem to pinpoint what my issue was and so I continued to acquire more and more education. While the additional education certainly helped and my career progressed, I still found myself frustrated. Education wasn't the only golden key to success. Something was missing, I seemed to be drifting. What now?

Give your child some time to try and sort things out. Children are adaptable and are capable of finding ways around problems they have in school. Sometimes the ways they choose work, sometimes they don't. But always give your child a chance to work things out for themselves before you jump in to provide support. I suggest that you give your child up to four weeks to try and work things out. That gives them time to try new ways of working and to settle into one that suits them.

We're not talking about some vague concept of adding value. We're talking about a deep commitment to enhance the lives of those you teach. Why is this so important? It is the single most effective tool any golden teacher can employ. Think about your own life - if you call a company and they just want to make money from you, you can tell instantly can't you? But if you call a company and they're willing to do whatever it takes to make your life easier, solve your problems, meet your needs and answer your questions - don't you just love it?

Now, the prodigal son had returned...to look for a bride, no less! The local customs demanded dowries for wives. A dowry of two or three cows would net a fair wife and four or five cows would fetch a very nice one. Johnny, everyone knew, would buy the most beautiful woman in the village, because Johnny Lingo could afford a FIVE COW woman!

growkit golden teacher Teaching only happens when you've got the student's attention and they want to learn. My last student turned out to be very interested in historic buildings - we live near Salisbury Cathedral, and so there's a golden teaching opportunity 'on tap'. So we left the classroom and visited Salisbury Cathedral. It's got the tallest spire in the UK, at 123 metres. They started building it in 1220, and topped off the spire by 1330.

golden teacher growkit Remember, students are self-centred. Many believe that because you are correcting their behaviour that 'you are picking on them' and/or 'you hate them'. You might get that impression from them too. Don't take it personally. It's just 'the nature of the beast'. Let what happens in the classroom stay there.

growkit golden teacher There is an old, often used joke about how to make money in network marketing. The answer, they say, is simple. All that you have to do is recruit, recruit, and recruit. Simple, you say? If you've been in MLM for any time at all you will know that even the most simple of things are not always easy. It takes an impressive amount of determination and discipline to stay the course even though there may not be much in the way of income at the start of your network marketing career. Although we all dream of time and lifestyle freedom, the reality is that it doesn't happen overnight. Only the most tenacious will endure, continuing to do what must be done in order to reach the goal. Those who do will reap great rewards as they recruit, recruit, and recruit.
