Probably why it was sitting in my stash unsewed. Anyway lately I introduced it to my buddy Michelle who is identical dimension as I'm and sometimes the recipient of my sewing. She beloved it. That costume has a magic spanx-like knit lining that completely holds you in however may be very comfortable and supports all of the draping and pleating. Above I discussed that I like this pattern greater than the V1250 which can also be deceptively simple and works beautifully in knits. Here is the sample envelope and a glance on the inside lining which keeps the cowl neckline in perfect place.


The purple model was too big - really too lengthy within the bodice and that i needed to take it up on the shoulders a great amount, almost 3/4" entrance and back. For these versions I folded out 3/4" from the back bodice across the higher again, and figured the shoulder seam would settle wherever it wanted to. I also raised the armholes about 1/2" on each entrance and back sample items. After i sewed the costume I ended up using a 3/4" seam on the shoulder so all in all of the adjustments worked very well. So that is my first sample repeat of the spring/summer time. Some others on my to-sew listing are things you can in all probability predict, but there are one or two that may come as full suprises.
