So, I've been on a journey of learning to listen to myself at a deeper level. And, I invite you to join me on this journey, too. I want to share four of the ways I've been deepening my ability to listen to my self. And, conveniently, they spell S.E.L.F...

We must change and to do so we must develop human character. End suffering. Attention to here and now then come down from the mountain and provide water to the thirsty souls. No cult grew around Aldous Huxley. (Who incidentally died the same moment as John F. Kennedy). Huxley did not become a Guru. (Actually a Guru is a teacher and Huxley was that!).

Suddenly this triggers the best idea ever for Nick. He coins his own new word "frindle." His new word annoys his teacher mightily. The war of words escalates--resulting in after-school detention, a home visit from the principal, national publicity, even money-making for local entrepreneurs, and, finally, the addition of frindle in the dictionary. Amazing!

I had a couple of special friends but was never invited to join the 'in' crowd. My personality was still forming. I had no way of impressing it on anyone. I had zero marketing capacity so I could never sell my coolness so that there would be buyers.

Still other workshops may have breathing or breath work or sacral cranial work or acupressure, shiatsu or, well the list is infinite. They even show movies. And there are places where one can borrow consciousness raising sound and video tapes. There is a bookshop in the main office filled with tapes and books and things one might need. Some come for room and board but most are here for workshops and seminars.

As I matured, I understood owning and caring for an animal is more than "just looking good next to an exotic or popular breed". It is about bonding, caring, and loving that animal and learning unconditional love from it.

The lions of gold atop the cover signified soul accomplishments. A golden lion almost always means this in a "soul level" dream. How fitting that the record of our past lives is "covered" by our collective Souls' accomplishments! This book was the Akashic Records.
