I will share with you one of the most powerful dreams of my life. I was studying at a library table with my friend, Joy. It was kind of dark. There were many empty tables in this library, which was shaped like a theater in the round. I noticed that a middle-aged woman in a brown dress, her hair in a bun, was quietly standing beside me. As I looked at her she gestured to me to follow her. Joy never looked up from her books. I followed the woman down some stairs toward the center of the theater. In the center of the stage was a brightly glowing, golden pyramid, about fifteen to eighteen feet high. There was an open trapezoidal shaped door in the center of one side. Beside the door stood a blonde, blue-eyed, tall thin man wearing only a loin cloth.

And they have passed the series on to their own children. The tale is of four children who travel in an empty boxcar without parental supervision, a captivating storyline for children constantly reined in and directed by adults. Somehow the children find ways to survive through happenstance or ingenuity.

Broaden your network - Once people get a job they tend to drop many of their earlier friends and simply focus on work and family. My motto is to never let your network go because some day you might need a broader group of friends. In fact, part of your career goal should be to continue building your network. This helps to increase your visibility but at the same time, more people will know what your skills are and these are the ones who might someday point you in the direction of a new career opportunity. At the same time, be sure to extend your network as far as possible and to include a wide and diverse group of friends.

Some come for room and board but most are here for workshops and seminars.

I was quiet and retiring on the surface but a secret revolutionary developing a silent but burgeoning dislike of authority in all its forms. I had a couple of special friends but was never invited to join the 'in' crowd. My personality was still forming. I had no way of impressing it on anyone. I had zero marketing capacity so I could never sell my coolness so that there would be buyers.
