Idea[edit]
What is your basic idea to a new movie script. What do you dream of.
I lately heard that there was in the middle ages a group of knights in france who where female. And that Jeanne D'Arc was actually a female knight of this group. So I said this would make for a cool movie. Just about these women warriors who fight and have to deal with the male knight orders. Just for the thrill of having some sword warrior women on the screen. --Evader (talk) 18:49, 19 May 2015 (CEST)
Authors[edit]
Put your name here the way you would want it to appear in the movie title credits.
Ste;pha;n Hol;s;tein.
Land[edit]
Land.
The land should be france in the middle ages and everything not to realisticly dirty. I always think of movies as best being comic book styled. with an unrealistic clean touch. Both in setting and story. Like Marvel films. With the "not to dramatic" fun of modern movies.
All ideas you have in these first chapters have to be told in the movie or tv script so this makes already some scenes necessary.
Hero, Good Guys[edit]
Hero, Tools like: Army, Lightsaber, Buggy, Starship, Abilities like: Kung Fu, Energy fighting, Shooting.
A group of female knights that are close friends. A sisterhood of warriors. All with swords.
What Tools or Abilities can he or she get later.
Bad Guy[edit]
Bad Guy, Tools, Abilities.
What Tools or Abilities can he or she get later
Other characters[edit]
Ideas about other characters.
Ideology[edit]
Is the Hero just good, or has he doubt about an actually good attitude like: he has personal rights, friendliness toward strangers, believe in God, hope for the future, life partner is the most important.
Or is there just an overaching theme that does not concern the Hero to much.
Trust[edit]
If the Hero is already just good, then he or she must doubt to be able to use one of his or her "Abilities" or "Tools" so that it brings victory. in one scene. About what has the Hero doubts?
Bad Guy advantage[edit]
What could the Bad Bad Guy get if he rules the Land.
Threat[edit]
Where must the Bad Guy go and what must he use to destroy the Good Guy or one of his or her necessary Tools.
Solution[edit]
Where must the Hero go and what must he use to destroy the Bad Guy or one of his or her necessary Tools.
Important stages[edit]
(of the movie script). Ideas for the middle part.
If something is already written in one of these chapters and you do not like it don't just delete it, you can strike it out so it can be easily restored. This text inside these brackets will be striked through on the script page .
All ideas you have in these first chapters have to be told in the movie script so this makes already some scenes necessary.
General thoughts (Setup)[edit]
Your place for everything. But primarily about the aspects above.
Scenes[edit]
A movie script consists of about thirteen sequences. A sequence is a row of scenes that do only one aspect for the story. The Scenes are in this case sequences. The word scene makes us understand that every "Scene" makes one story aspect happen. We need about thirteen scenes.
Problematic is that this will not give a continous film or movie script because the movie developes and so the scenes have to be discarded again or rearanged. Thats why the scenes are not numbered. To sort them use the Edit button on top of the page to see the whole text.
All ideas you have in the first chapters above have to be told in the movie or theater scenes to make the viewers understand everything. You can write scenes in which the Good Guy or the Bad Guy work to retrieve "Tools", "Abilities" or come to a "Place" for the final fight. You can write scenes in which there are minor pre fights. And you can write movie scenes about the final fight(which must be close to movie end, no more then 5 minutes before the film end the final fight is over).
